Thomas Fredrick Willetts lived life in the town of Treharris, South Wales. A former mining community famed for the coal it produced for the Cunard line and more recently home of X Factor contestant Lloyd Daniels.
The Thomas Fredrick Willetts Foundation, a registered charity and a company limited by guarantee in England & Wales, is a self-governing arts organisation managed by a Board of Directors and external trustees.
Our journey to make a difference relies on the support and encouragement of all who contribute to our work. In particular we say thank you and acknowledge those who have supported us in a special way by adding their names to the scroll of Ambassadors of Light.
The Thomas Fredrick Willetts Foundation is an arts and music charity that supports individuals and communities through a range of education and regeneration programmes.
It is created in memory of a man whose passion and love of music, community and the arts was evident and expressed for over 50 years as music director of his church. His wish was that those same passions were driven forward to build a better society for people to live in and that music and the arts play their part in bringing joy and empowerment to all who participate.
Music can change and transform communities, empowering all who participate. It’s great to be part of a charity which is working to make a difference Alfie Boe
